When we last left Tim (Red Robin) Drake and Stephanie (Batgirl) Brown, they were reunited in Batgirl #8, and rudely interrupted by, it turns out, Pru, of the League Of Assassins! It continues in Red Robin #10:

They do end up all working toward a common goal, though, in a story to be continued.

I've blogged before about my love for Rawhide Kid and the Lone Ranger, so it's not too surprising that the ubiquitous Vladimir Ivanov would finally catch my eye with a Western styled editorial like 'Rodeobound' by Evelyn Sand, which is featured in the current issue of German GQ Style! Hercules In Memoriam

Marvel uses the Greek and Roman (and Norse) pantheons as regular players throughout their 'universe', and Hercules has been a creator and fan favorite for many years. Events in his regular book led to his death, which is memorialized "HERCULES FALL OF AN AVENGER", a tow part story, the first part of which is out this week. (It should be noted that death for a comics character is usually as inconvenient as the flu, and Hercules being an immortal it's probably more like a summer cold.)

Next issue will probably be more traditional in waxing nostalgic about great adventures. The future for Herc? Depends on sales, undoubtedly.
