
Marvel uses the Greek and Roman (and Norse) pantheons as regular players throughout their 'universe', and Hercules has been a creator and fan favorite for many years. Events in his regular book led to his death, which is memorialized "HERCULES FALL OF AN AVENGER", a tow part story, the first part of which is out this week. (It should be noted that death for a comics character is usually as inconvenient as the flu, and Hercules being an immortal it's probably more like a summer cold.)
